OSTEOPATH

As an Aged Care Osteopath, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse adult client base with varying needs in a residential Aged Care setting.

Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality and evidence-based care, which includes conducting assessments and observations to create care plans for care staff management. This would also include assessment of falls risk and functional capacity. Another primary responsibility is the determination of the appropriate level of assistance required to mobilise and transfer the consumer safely. Some treatment & diagnostic interventions may be required occasionally.

You will work closely with your Allied Health team, family members, carers, nurses and the visiting General practitioner to facilitate a great outcome for the residents. To excel in this role you will need to exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
As a registered Osteopath you will have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience which ideally includes experience in Aged Care but not essential.

• Relevant qualification in Osteopathy
• AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Current Police Check
• Current drivers’ licence
• Current Covid Vaccinations

As a Community Osteopath, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse adult client base with varying needs providing care to Home Care Package (HCP) / Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) consumers in their home. The role is primarily mobile.

Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality, evidence-based care & treatment. You will be exposed to primarily neurological and musculoskeletal conditions that are chronic in nature and will require a holistic approach. Exercise prescription and progression will also be a significant part of the role.

You will work closely with family members, Case Managers and other Allied Health practitioners when required.

To excel in this role you will need to exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as accurate and comprehensive report writing when required.  A good understanding of the HCP / CHSP system and processes will be essential.

As a registered Osteopath you will have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience which ideally includes experience with HCP / CHSP consumers but not essential.

As an NDIS Osteopath, you will have the opportunity to provide support for a diverse client base with varying needs providing care for participants on an NDIS funded plan in their home. The role is primarily mobile.

Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality, evidence-based support & treatment. You will be exposed to a wide and diverse range of disabilities, some more challenging than others, that are chronic in nature and will require a holistic approach.

Your overall objective in delivering NDIS Osteopathy supports is to provide capacity building solutions to enable the NDIS participant to meet their personal, social & community goals.

You will also work closely with family members, support coordinators, personal care workers, and occasionally LAC / NDIA Representative.

To excel in this role you will need to exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as accurate and comprehensive report writing when required. A good understanding of the NDIS system and processes will be essential.

As a registered NDIS Osteopath you will have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience which ideally includes experience with NDIS participants.

• NDIS Workers screening check
• Current Police Check
